We are a family-owned destination Farm offering a unique one-stop shopping experience on the freshest produce, beautiful plants and design-savvy gifts!
We’d like to describe the visit to our farm as a mini vacation! Imagine walking into a retail greenhouse that boasts a diverse display of some of the finest live plants, home decor, plant containers, and unique accents – while shopping for the freshest produce at the market right next to this greenhouse!

As an Event Coordinator, you will work alongside our management team to strategically create one-of-a-kind In-house events and experiences that will bring our plant-loving community together and which will allow them to experience unforgettable moments at Vandula Farms.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and critical-thinking Event Coordinator who will support our management team in all aspects of Event planning ensuring that relevant, high-quality experiences are delivered.
Primary responsibilities would include planning and organizing In-store events & workshops, contacting & securing bookings from vendors and speakers, and finding creative ways to launch promotional initiatives by collaborating with local brands / influencers to boost our Online engagement and brand loyalty.
This role requires flexibility, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in organizing live events and experiential marketing.
Candidates should be passionate about producing fun and entertaining experiences for all walks of the public. Strong communication skills are critical to success in this role. The right candidate will be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal and project management skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scheduling In-house events & workshops
- Researching, contacting, and securing booking with vendors and speakers
- Coordinating with our Social Media team to ensure they have a good source of media to advertise events, etc.
- Ensuring set up responsibilities are met for events & workshops.
- Assisting our social media team to find creative collaboration with local brands/micro-influencers to bolster our online brand presence, develop customer loyalty and increase sales.
- Participate in brainstorming meetings with our management team to meet our marketing objectives and execution of event deliverables.
- Communicating/Reporting KPI’s and insights of our monthly events and to suggest other Event marketing avenues to increase sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and pride yourself on your flexible, detailed and analytical mindset. The role requires a mix of business development and operational experience.
- Ideal Candidates are passionate about plants / gardening and event planning!
- 2+ years of experience in the event planning industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and pull together multiple aspects of an event in an organized and efficient way.
- Knowledge of promotional tools such as Facebook and Instagram is a plus!
- Experience in collaborative/influencer marketing is an asset for this role.
- Have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships.
