Long hailed to be every Interior designers' statement plant! Ficus Lyrata aka Fiddle Leaf Fig is a popular choice for its thin trunk and lush architectural leaves that create an impeccable balance of negative space and immediately catch the eye.
This is our go-to plant for those awkward bright corners of your office or living room and does a fantastic job of contributing a sense of character in a space.
Make sure to routinely dust off its bold leaves for the plant to photosynthesize at its optimal level and prevent any pest infestations
Plant comes potted in this sleek Greenville Elho Pot, topped with Hydro Clay balls
Measures approx. 5 ft. tall
Light: Place in a location with plenty of bright light, but not direct sunlight. Rotation is key! You will quickly notice that your Ficus Lyrata will tend to bend and reach towards the light, a process called Helioptrism. Rotate your plant weekly so it needs to bend the opposite way. This will ensure it grows tall and straight.
Water: Once a week, or when the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry. Make sure to avoid giving excess water as Fiddle Leaf is sensitive to overwatering. Like most houseplants, it's best to water your plant at room temperature or lukewarm water.
Fertilizer: Once a month from Spring-Fall.
Pet Friendly: No. This plant can toxic to animals.
